ABOUT MPINCH YA KASI

A Digital Marketplace Built for the People Who Build South Africa

Our Story

Mpinch ya Kasi was born from one simple truth:
township entrepreneurs are talented, hardworking, and innovative — but locked out of opportunity.

I started this platform because I’ve seen it my whole life…
Brands with incredible products.
Creators with real skill.
Communities full of hustle.
But no access to the markets where money flows.

Mpinch ya Kasi exists to break that wall.

What We Offer

Retail Access Without Gatekeeping.

Anyone can list their products, including clothing, local brands, household essentials, merchandise, music, or event tickets.
No connections. No corporate politics. Just access.

Technology That Empowers Small Businesses

We provide tools normally reserved for big companies:

AI chatbots

Digital storefronts

Online payments

Automated ordering

Customer messaging

No-code setup

We give township businesses the systems they’ve always deserved.

A National Customer Base

From Postmasburg to Soweto, from Khayelitsha to Polokwane — sellers can reach customers across South Africa, not just their street.

Visibility for Historically Excluded Entrepreneurs

We help small brands gain exposure, build credibility, and grow beyond the borders of their communities.

Opportunities for Teams, Artists & Clubs

We power merch sales, digital tickets, fan engagement and direct earnings for local teams and creators.
We envision a South Africa where:

Kasi businesses compete at the level of national retailers.

Innovation is born in the streets, not the boardrooms.

Wealth circulates within communities instead of leaving them.

Technology becomes the great equalizer, not another barrier.

Our long-term vision is a unified, borderless African marketplace where every entrepreneur—Black, Coloured, Indian, White, rural or urban—has the same opportunity to win.

Why We Exsist

Because township businesses have always been left at the margins. Because the legacy of apartheid still shapes who gets access and who gets excluded. Because monopolies still dominate the economy. Because corruption slows progress. Because the future of South Africa depends on building a fair, inclusive, people-powered township economy.
